Mexico 2008

102_2533.jpg Oh man what a great trip to Mexico I had this year. It was full of memories that will last a long time. A lot of new inside jokes were created. Friendships were stregthend and challenged. Everyone worked hard and I am so proud of all of the students. They stepped up and excepted the challege that God placed before them. No major injuries, only one nail in the foot and a lot of banged fingers.{ Those were all mine} here are a few pictures from the trip. 102_2534.jpg This is a picture of our stump. This stump set my worksite behind by about 3/4 of a day. I saw this only as a challenge to finish faster and work harder.102_2536.jpg I saw this as a good thing. That stump tried to stump us, but it was not successful. Whoever gave this group of students instructions on how to build a house must be crazy. Well this group of students built two houses, and gave two families places to live with thier families. It was a true blessing to go this year. I can’t wait for the years to come. However it will be different without my seniors. The last night at the camp I sat around the fire with about eight seniors and I got a little sad. These kids are graduating this year. I have been with them since 6th grade. They are my kids…my friends….a true blessing to me…
